The Berlinale once again opens its doors to the next generation of film professionals. Starting this week, applications are open for Berlinale Talents 2026, one of the most prestigious training, exchange, and networking programs in the international film industry.
From February 13 to 18, 2026, around 200 emerging filmmakers from all over the world will gather in Berlin for an intensive week combining hands-on workshops, inspiring talks with world-renowned guests, interdisciplinary think tanks, and valuable networking opportunities. More than just a workshop, Berlinale Talents serves as a gateway to a global community that already counts over 10,000 alumni around the world.
The program is aimed at directors, screenwriters, producers, actors, editors, sound designers, and other creative professionals who wish to advance their careers and connect with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to the Summit in Berlin, the experience promises to open up new opportunities within the framework of the Berlin International Film Festival.
