The 76th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival announced its winners at the closing ceremony held on February 21 at the Berlinale Palast, where 22 films competed for the top prizes in the official competition. The jury was chaired by director Wim Wenders and included international film figures such as Min Bahadur Bham, Bae Doona, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, Reinaldo Marcus Green, HIKARI, and Ewa Puszczyńska.

The Golden Bear for Best Film went to Yellow Letters, directed by Ilker Çatak. In the acting categories, Tom Courtenay and Anna Calder-Marshall won the Silver Bear for Best Supporting Performance for Queen at Sea, while Sandra Hüller received the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance for her role in Rose. The award for Best Director went to Grant Gee for Everybody Digs Bill Evans, and the Jury Prize was awarded to Lance Hammer’s Queen at Sea. The Grand Jury Prize went to Ermin Alper for Salvation.
