The Critics’ Week opens the submission period for its 65th edition, which will take place from May 13 to 21, 2026
The Critics’ Week has officially announced the opening of the submission period for films wishing to take part in its 65th edition. From now until March 6, 2026 at midnight, Paris time, filmmakers can submit their feature and short films to the selection committees. The regulations and registration portal are already available via the link in the event’s official channels’ bio.
For this edition, the artistic direction will once again be led by Ava Cahen, who will work alongside the feature and short film selection committees, made up of critics and journalists from the French Union of Film Critics. The short film committee will be coordinated by Léo Ortuno.
The monitoring of films in production and the relationship with industry professionals will be overseen by Thomas Rosso, Program Manager; Rémi Bigot, Head of the Film Department; and Juliette Canon, in charge of short films. With the opening of submissions, Critics’ Week begins its journey toward an edition that promises to highlight new talent and strengthen the dialogue between filmmakers, critics, and the film industry.
