IndieLisboa opens call for entries for its 23rd edition, which will take place from April 30 to May 10, 2026
The IndieLisboa Film Festival has officially opened the call for entries for its 23rd edition, which will take place in 2026. Filmmakers from around the world are now invited to submit their films, from short films to feature-length projects, across all genres and origins.
The festival, one of the most prominent showcases of independent cinema in Europe, features six competitive sections and four non-competitive sections, offering multiple platforms for both emerging and established creators.
Submissions are open until December, with three different deadlines:
Early Bird: August 1 to September 15, 2025 (national and international shorts and features)
Regular Deadline: September 16 to November 19, 2025 (national and international shorts and features)
Late Deadline: November 20 to December 19, 2025 (national shorts and features, international shorts, and only international feature films completed after November 1)
