Call for Entries Open for FIDMarseille 2025

The prestigious Marseille International Film Festival (FIDMarseille) has announced the opening of submissions for its 36th edition, which will take place in July 2025. Filmmakers have until January 31, 2025, to submit films produced in 2024, and until March 15 for films produced in 2025.

All films completed after January 1, 2024, are eligible. Submissions are made through the Eventival platform, where two forms are available: one for short films (under 60 minutes), with a fee of €25, and another for feature films (60 minutes or longer), with a fee of €45.

Recognized as a key platform for discovering emerging talents, FIDMarseille presents a selection of around 100 films, including fiction and documentaries, short and feature-length works. Screenings include world or international premieres across various competitive categories, as well as out-of-competition programs and outdoor screenings.

The festival also features retrospectives dedicated to living filmmakers, who share their works and experiences with the audience in an environment that fosters connection and exchange.

FIDMarseille goes beyond the days of the festival. During the event, initiatives such as FIDLab, an international co-production platform, and FIDCampus, a training residency for film students, take place. Additionally, the educational program FID+ runs throughout the year with workshops, screenings, and activities in Marseille, France, and worldwide, promoting independent and creative cinema.

This event, located in the heart of Marseille—a vibrant and multicultural city—is an unmissable gathering for cinephiles and industry professionals. For more information and film submissions, please refer to the Terms and Conditions on FIDMarseille’s official website.
