The 28th edition of BAFICI will take place from April 7 to 18, 2027, and its call for entries is now open for filmmakers wishing to submit their films. From October 1 through December 18, 2026, national and international feature films and short films can be submitted through the festival’s website, bafici.org.

The call is open to feature films and short films in fiction, documentary, and experimental cinema. National, international, and world premieres of foreign films will be prioritized, as will world premieres of Argentine films. Regional premieres (American, Latin American, and South American) will also be given priority for both foreign and Argentine films.
