Registration is now open for the 37th edition of FIDMarseille

The Marseille International Film Festival (FIDMarseille) has announced the official opening of the submission period for its 37th edition. Films produced from January 1, 2025 onward are eligible to participate in the festival, one of Europe’s leading events for documentary and auteur cinema.

According to the organizers, the submission deadlines vary depending on the year of production:

  • January 31, 2026 for films produced in 2025

  • March 15, 2026 for films produced in 2026

Two Submission Categories

Filmmakers have access to two forms on the Eventival platform, depending on the length of their works:

  • Short films (under 60 minutes), with a submission fee of 25 euros

  • Feature films (over 60 minutes), with a fee of 50 euros

Before submitting their work, the festival recommends that participants carefully read the regulations and guidelines available online.

How to Submit

The entire registration process is handled through Eventival.
Those who have already submitted a project to FIDMarseille since 2014, or who have received an accreditation in previous editions, will be automatically redirected to their existing account. If they have forgotten their password, the system allows them to recover it easily.

New applicants, meanwhile, must create a profile on the platform. This account will serve to manage their professional information and their relationship with the festival. FIDMarseille emphasizes that all data hosted on Eventival is owned by the festival and will not be shared with third parties.

Completing Registration

Once the submission process has begun, the system offers two options when finalizing the form:

  • “Save changes”, which allows the submission to remain as a draft and be edited as many times as needed

  • “Submit definitively”, after which the application will be officially registered and no further changes can be made
